Like many others, I have a lot of trouble with the suggestion that Brandon hit rock bottom because he got his dick sucked by a guy and then had sex with two very attractive women, and even (gasp!) rimmed one of them.
I was also disappointed that very little actually happened. I am conventional that way.
That said, I was absolutely riveted by the relationship between Brandon and Sissy. All of their scenes together were fascinating, but I particularly loved their first scene - what a great way of showing there is something off in that relationship! - and the scene in the subway where the affection shone through, and the way Brandon just watched, tense, when she was flirting with his boss.
If anyone knows of any post-movie fixit fic where we find out more about them and they heal and they support each other, point me to it.
