Oh my god this week's episode was amazing. I shrieked out loud and made myself jump. Then I flailed and didn't know WHAT TO DO WITH ALL MY LOVE.

Is that really possible? I mean, humans are awfully inventive when it comes to killing methods. The wikipedia category for execution methods alone has 63 entries, and many of those cover methods with lots of variation, like the breaking wheel. I've never watched Spartacus, but have they done Scaphism yet?

True, that .. was not covered. But they're killing several people per episode; it's only a matter of time.

But surely some, like execution by elephant, are worth to make the cut twice. I mean, that would make for cool special effects with some CGI war elephant. Same for being eaten by lions, and other more action like executions, surely those are more like car chases in that they remain somewhat interesting on repeat and can be a staple? Unlike a more static thing like crucifixion.

Normally, I turn away from the gory bits and I don't cheer them - but I have to admit, that one was so incredibly OTT that I cheered in delight.
