You had me at Krycek.

... and then you lost me at the promo for next week. *cringes*

Much will be forgiven on account of this episode.

It can definitely be a happy place to return to when times are low.

I haven't seen the promo yet for next week yet, but I'm amused that in this episode Dean continues to be Wrong Genre Savvy whenever he goes back in time, and the further back he goes, the more he sticks out.

Dean is the 1970s = a litte strange
Dean in the 1940s = mistaken for hobo
Dean in the 1860s = mistaken for crazy.

I kind of wonder what would happen if Dean ever got thrown back further... he'd probably get himself burned at the stake, actually.

Hee, but I think we should see a lot more time-traveling Dean. Because that's fun!

(I am just now catching up.) On this theory, Dean in 2014 = looked to as leader because he is perfectly well adjusted to his circumstances.

Hunh.
