Oh my god, Supernatural!

At first I was all, oh no, not another episode where Sam and Dean are apart. And then I was all, oh no, we have a new Bobby character now, don't we, sigh.

But then! Dean bonded! With a little girl! That's never happened before! I didn't think Dean was allowed to talk to little girls! And she was cool and competent! So that was really really cool!

I'm having trouble figuring out the ups and downs of Dean's and Sam's desire to get out of hunting - they've been going back and forth on it for years, seems like - and of course, they're leaving out that while in the first season hunting may have been something they could have theoretically given up, ever since then, they've hunted because they were being targeted directly or because they're the only ones who could stop the end of the world, or whatever, so it hasn't really been a choice for them in a while.

But whatever! Dean bonded with a female child! Who wasn't at all creepy! I am pleased even if there was something very odd about the pacing of their dialogue.
