The State of Me

giandujakissChanukah gift for Mom - accomplished! Continuing in my tradition of buying her DVDs, I got her Sleeper Cell, because she's enjoying Homeland (which is still awesome, by the way). I also got her the new Jane Eyre, because that's the kind of thing she likes, and Michael Fassbender is hot.
Festivids! It's absolutely killing me that LJ is blocking Open ID, and therefore a lot of people can't log on to the Festivids site. See, as a mod, I don't get to have the joy of Festivids morning - instead, my glee comes from seeing all the vids get submitted. And though it's early yet and there won't be a big rush of submissions until much later this month, it's killing me to know that there probably are people who would be submitting their vids if not for the login problems.
Also, I myself have completed and submitted my own vid, and I am actually pretty happy with it, so now I'm just bouncing off the walls until it can be unveiled. Is it golive yet? ... How about now?
I may have to try to work on a treat just to keep myself calm.
