I assume we'll see the "other" Joe Flanigan at some point, because otherwise, that was the weirdest waste of a Stargate alum since Michael Shanks in 99 Problems.
I considered that too--I might be interested in that, if only to see if he can play emotionless shapeshifter in any way that distinguishes him from John Sheppard.
