Um, mildly? spoilery for 10-year-&-older books: Miles Vorkosigan (of the Vorkosigan saga by Lois McMaster Bujold) went through cryo-revival. And eventually met Ekaterin, & they had kids, & they used uterine replicators (& in-vitro fertilisation) for the pregnancies.

Or at least that you should choose your sexual activities very carefully. We're extrapolating from specific reproductive activities here; this may in fact be a limitation of the model organism rather than the scientists' imaginations (or that of their funding agency), but it is a limitation.
