I ahem'd the H50 season finale and watched it on my netbook in my hotel room.

I should have waited.



Seriously, Danny? Seriously? You're shtupping Rachel behind Stan's back, then she wants to go back to New Jersey - and leaving aside the hilarity of her with her English accent being all eager to get back to Newark - and your reaction is, "Sure! I'll quit my job, pack up my entire apartment, and move back with you - in 24 hours!" Leaving aside the H50 crises, real life people give notice when they quit their jobs, they figure out where their new job is going to be, and they maybe figure out where they're planning to live in advance of moving there. There is no earthly reason why Danny couldn't have said, "Babe, I'll move back to NJ to be with you, but first I have to give notice at my job! Wrap up my cases! Put in the transfer paperwork!"

And that leaves aside the part where H50 is crumbling around his ears and his best friend on the island is wanted for murder, and Danny's telling Rachel "Don't worry, I'll meet you at the gate"??? Seriously?

So now I hate everyone.

I don't want Danny to "choose" Steve by leaving his pregnant ex-wife and his daughter at the airport gate without explanation! It's bizarre, is what it is!

Well, I've only seen like four episodes so I probably shouldn't comment, but I think it's pretty bizarre that he's back together with Rachel. That seemed pretty truly over.

I'm curious to see what will happen next. Even without Rachel, Danny's whole reason for being in Hawaii was Grace. If she's moving back to NJ, it will make no sense for Danny to stay in Hawaii.

That's why I don't think they'll move back. I was expecting them to kill off Rachel for exactly this reason - then Danny would be sole parent to Grace. I'm still sort of expecting that, but I'm not sure the show would be willing to kill of a pregnant woman.

I'm pretty sure Grace will somehow remain in Hawaii. I mean, obviously Danno has to stay in Hawaii, they've established that he's devoted to Grace and more importantly, I think his relationship with Grace is a crucual aspect of his character. I'm also pretty sure Show won't kill off a child. So somehow, Grace has to stay.
