The New York Times Paywall is Hilariously Easy to Beat. And Buggy.

I shouldn't encounter the paywall, because I'm a home subscriber. But because the system doesn't work - which is a whole 'nother thing - it isn't acknowledging me and started blocking my viewing anyway.

Happily, when you get blocked, literally all you have to do is go up to the URL you were trying to access and delete out the numeric code that appears at the end of it, and refresh. Voila! Access granted.

What was the point of this?
