I liked that they acknowledged Morgana's reasons for attacking Camelot. I disliked that she had that whole conversation with Merlin about feeling alone, and nowhere in the episode did anyone hint that any of this could possibly have been a little bit Merlin's and Gaius's fault, who let her believe that she was going insane rather than tell her the truth. For her own good. And that was a particularly ugly storyline, given the very long history of treating women as insane as a mechanism to control them - which doesn't mean I object to the storyline, but I do object to the show's failure to seriously engage Merlin's and Gaius's level of complicity.

Colin looks so pretty when he's teary.

I've resigned myself to overdone Arthur/Merlin "teasing" and meanness, but that doesn't mean I like it. I very much enjoyed their brief moments of tenderness.

I resent that Merlin was able to hold his own against Morgana in a sword fight for even a minute.

I find this idea that Merlin can't tell anyone that Morgana's the traitor to be ... implausible. I still don't quite understand why he can't at least tell Arthur.

To move things forward, Arthur has to find out about Merlin's magic by the end of this season. Otherwise this show has nowhere to go. (Unless they move straight to killing Uther, but that's unlikely, since I'm sure they want ASH to remain in the cast.)
