Are you getting it on the login page? If so, try the https:// login page, I never get it on that one.

No - I'm getting it on my FList, or when I go to particular journal entries.

The really frustrating thing is that no one else is experiencing it. I feel like I'm being gaslighted. And god knows LJ won't even bother to fix it unless there's like a mass outcry.

I've honestly never had an LJ tech issue, I've no idea where you'd go for tech support. I'm sure they don't make major changes to their code without a mass outcry, but it sounds like you're experiencing a glitch. No response to your support request huh?

Yai. I haven't seen this behavior but I'm on a nonstandard browser. I hope LJ fixes it for you soon.

Sigh. It's made me afraid to refresh my FList, it's so annoying!

I just went to log in, and got some video chick making kissy-faces at me blocking the log-in box until she was finished with whatever she was trying to advertise to me. Once I was logged in, it didn't happen again -- didn't happen on Flist the way it is with you -- but man, that experience alone is nearly enough to put me off trying to log in.

I stay logged in so I don't see those ads, thank god.

Maybe you are cursed. I don't even get a pop-up if I visit your friends page while logged out in a browser without an adblocker.

IDEK. It's clearly just me but I've run everything I can think of to make it stop and nothing's working on two different browsers.

Ouch, that sucks. What malware checker are you using? I only ask because one of our computers at home had malware problems recently and the viruscan/security program installed couldn't identify the problem.

Malware Bytes, or something? Plus adaware for spyware and two different virus programs. I am out of ideas.

Yeah, that's the program I was going to recommend if you hadn't tried it yet. Wish I had something more useful to suggest - it all sounds frustrating as heck.
