Why Dollhouse and not T:SCC?

For anyone like me who was mourning the renewal of Dollhouse in the face of T:SCC's cancellation,this post explains the economics. Basically, Fox owns Dollhouse but not SCC, which allows Fox to profit from a wider variety of items.

Edit:. As elz points out, they keep using that word "feminist.". I do not think it means what they think it means.

Not that it was unexpected, but I'm still crushed over SCC not being renewed. :(

And according to Friedman in that chat transcript someone linked on my LJ, that's the end of it. They're not shopping it around or making any other effort to save the show.

Damn. I want to know what was going on in that basement, and what the plan was for John & Kyle & Derek & Alison, and what about Danny?
