I liked this always-a-girl!Derek Sterek PWP

Here. And the reason I liked it, apart from the sheer hotness, is that there's not a whole lot of always-a-girl!Derek out there (where Stiles stays male), and what stories do exist tend to alter the power dynamics in ways that I'm not comfortable with. It's hard to articulate, but I feel that sometimes when Derek's a girl, his ferocity and violence are fetishized - and diminished - as a result of the gender switch. What I enjoyed about this story is that the relationship feels very much the same to me as it does in the slash, only, with Derek as female.
