I am so routinely, routinely annoyed about these kinds of things. For fuck's sake, did you hear about the guy who was on death row for 14 years before he was exonerated and it turned out that something like five prosecutors had intentionally withheld evidence and this particular office had a history of withholding evidence in other cases, and still, the Supreme Court said he couldn't bring a lawsuit? It is not that goddamn easy.
