What's the name of that TOS novel that stars two women who are nominally original characters but really are sort of always-a-girl versions of Kirk and Spock? They get captured by Klingons, or something, at some point?

Edit I've got a couple of suggestions but I think the one I'm thinking of is Dwellers in the Crucible.

memory alpha has a listing of the novels;
http://memory-alpha.org/en/wiki/Dwellers_in_the_Crucible

when you looks up novels there some of the entries could have spoilers. this one doesn't though.

Yes, it is Dwellers... Bonanno and Carey are two of my favorite TOS writers.... I even corresponded with Bonanno for a few years. Interesting person and some background tidbits about how the publishing business works and Paramount. :)
