What's the name of that TOS novel that stars two women who are nominally original characters but really are sort of always-a-girl versions of Kirk and Spock? They get captured by Klingons, or something, at some point?

Edit I've got a couple of suggestions but I think the one I'm thinking of is Dwellers in the Crucible.

when you looks up novels there some of the entries could have spoilers. this one doesn't though.
